CCS has so many good initiatives at the moment and on of these is the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen/Garden Program. Have a look at how far we’ve come since we began development in 2015, absolutely extraordinary!
We’re planning an overnight school snow trip in Term 3 on the 25th & 26th of August. We will leave school at approximately 8.30am and return to school around 3.00pm the following day. We will head to the snow to build ‘snow people’ and toboggan as well as visit some sights on our trip home. We’ll be staying at the Adventist Alpine Village in Jindabyne. There will be a small cost associated with this trip, however, we will aim to fund-raise before the trip to minimize the cost. More information about the trip will be sent home in the coming weeks.
Due to the fast growth of our ELC and School we’re purchasing new classrooms. In week 10 of this term our 2-classroom demountable will be removed and replaced over the holidays with a new 4-classroom demountable! This will cause some disruption to classes, however we will minimise this as much as possible.
Due to heavy rain we unfortunately had to postpone our working bee. We will reschedule for a new date in term 3.
Due to our teacher training requirements Term 3 will commence on Thursday 21 July and NOT the Monday of that week. Apologies for any inconvenience.
